Your half-day adventure begins with a convenient pick-up from your hotel or Nile cruise in Luxor at 7:30 AM, where you will be driven in comfort by private air-conditioned vehicle to the West Bank. Your first stop is the Valley of the Kings (8:00 AM – 9:00 AM), the ancient burial ground of Egypt’s most famous pharaohs, including Tutankhamun, Ramses II, and Seti I.
Explore the beautifully decorated tombs and learn about the elaborate burial practices of the New Kingdom rulers. Afterward, you’ll head to the Colossi of Memnon (9:15 AM – 9:45 AM), where you’ll be amazed by the two enormous statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III that have stood for over 3,000 years, guarding the ruins of his temple.
