Day 1: Arrival in Cairo – Welcome to Egypt!

Upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be warmly greeted by our representative, who will assist with all airport formalities. You will then be transferred to your hotel in a private, air-conditioned vehicle. After checking in, take some time to relax and recover from your journey. Enjoy your first night in Cairo at your own leisure.

Day 2: Giza Pyramids, Sphinx & Grand Egyptian Museum

Begin your day with a delicious breakfast at your hotel before setting off on an exciting guided tour. Your first stop will be the Giza Plateau, where you will marvel at the legendary Great Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure, each standing tall for over 4,500 years.

You will also visit the iconic Great Sphinx, a colossal limestone statue with the body of a lion and the head of a pharaoh, as well as the Valley Temple of Khafre, an ancient site where royal mummification rituals once took place.

After enjoying a hearty lunch at a local restaurant, your tour continues at the Grand Egyptian Museum, the world’s largest archaeological museum, which houses over 100,000 artifacts, including the priceless treasures of King Tutankhamun.

End your day with a visit to the bustling Khan El Khalili Bazaar, where you can stroll through the vibrant souq filled with traditional crafts, spices, and souvenirs. Return to your hotel for a well-deserved rest.

Day 3: Fly to Luxor – Karnak & Luxor Temples

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before transferring to Cairo Airport for your short domestic flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, you will visit the magnificent Karnak Temple, a sprawling complex dedicated to the god Amun-Ra, renowned for its towering columns, massive pylons, and the sacred lake. Next, explore Luxor Temple, built by Amenhotep III and Ramses II, which becomes even more breathtaking when illuminated at night.

After your tour, board your Nile cruise, check in to your cabin, and enjoy a relaxing lunch on board. Spend the afternoon at leisure, and later, savor a delightful dinner as you cruise along the Nile.

Day 4: West Bank of Luxor – Valley of the Kings

Following breakfast on board, set out to explore Luxor’s West Bank. Visit the legendary Valley of the Kings, where the tombs of ancient pharaohs, including Tutankhamun, were discovered. Continue to the majestic Temple of Hatshepsut, dedicated to Egypt’s most powerful female pharaoh, and admire its striking architecture and terraces.

You’ll also stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two towering stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III that have stood for millennia.

Return to the cruise for lunch and enjoy some downtime before participating in an evening Galabeya party, where guests dress in traditional Egyptian attire.

Day 5: Edfu & Kom Ombo Temples

After breakfast, sail to Edfu and visit the well-preserved Temple of Horus, dedicated to the falcon-headed god. 

This temple is one of the finest examples of ancient Egyptian architecture. After your visit, continue sailing to Kom Ombo, where you’ll explore the unique double temple dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus. 

Don’t miss the Crocodile Museum, which displays mummified crocodiles.

Back on board, enjoy lunch as the cruise continues toward Aswan. In the evening, savor dinner and enjoy a lively onboard show.

Day 6: Aswan Tour – High Dam, Philae Temple & Unfinished Obelisk

After breakfast, embark on a tour of Aswan’s top landmarks. Start with the Aswan High Dam, a modern engineering marvel that helps control the flow of the Nile and provides hydroelectric power.

Next, visit Philae Temple, a beautifully preserved temple dedicated to the goddess Isis, relocated to Agilkia Island to protect it from flooding. Finally, explore the Unfinished Obelisk, an enormous ancient obelisk that remains in its quarry due to a crack.

Return to the cruise for lunch, and enjoy some leisure time onboard as you sail along the tranquil Nile.

Day 7: Abu Simbel – Return to Cairo

Begin your day with an early morning departure to visit the awe-inspiring Abu Simbel Temples. These colossal rock-cut temples, built by Ramses II, were relocated to higher ground to prevent flooding after the construction of the Aswan High Dam.

Marvel at the grand statues of Ramses II and the intricate carvings inside the temple. After your visit, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before transferring to Aswan Airport for your flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel for your final night in Egypt.
